Heys,

First I really apologize for the lack of posts recently. But it was the exam period, so hope you guys understand.

But over the past days of not posting, I have encountered a few awkward situations and experiences. Some were pleasant, others not so. I also noticed that the past is the past, that things said and done cannot be changed. That telling a simple lie is sometimes better than revealing a painful truth.

The two years I have spent in secondary school can be said to be not very happy years. Having trouble to adapt to my new surrounding at first, I struggled as I tried hard to search for a firm footing with new friends and teachers. Jesus pulled me through the year, but I cannot deny the fact that I barely made it in secondary one.

However, in secondary two, things started to change. I started to find my identity, not in my school, nor in my friends, but in Christ. And things that I lost since primary school, things that hurt much when thought about, started to lose their sting on me. I started to feel, if one could say, "alive" again. I enjoy my cca now, have great friends too.

But, fate changed its course once again and a serious of events tested my foundations again. First it was the IP application. Just when I was starting to enjoy life in Victoria, the idea of this programme caught me.

I was at a lost, thinking if I should apply or not, thinking if it was ok to risk it all again, for if I did enter this programme, new friends and teachers would follow. Would I be able to adapt again? I have found that adapting was tough for me.

Then it was the conversations with a "long lost" friend again. I was not only reminded of the painful past I had with her, but also I was reminded that if I had not said those stupid words, things might turn out different.

But whatever happened, I found that I have also become stronger. I have learnt that none can be trusted, that at the end of day, when I'm hurt and lost and on my bed, the only one I can talk to is God, is Jesus. That he is the only one that can heal this hurt I am still feeling. I really did'nt expect it to last this long. Though its starting to numb away now, I still can feel it there,
like a sharp needle, though very light, but very sharp, poking against my heart.

Watching Terminator tmr, will have a great time with friends. Hopefully that would numb the pain even more.

Why can't I just forget?

Andrew.
