You know they always say that you should'nt build a relationship based on lies right, but sometimes I wonder, what happens if the other party cannot except the truth? I mean, no one is perfect in this world, and with no one perfect, people will definitely tend to lie sometimes. Its all just so FRAGILE, the balance between the truth and lies. One party might finally want to share the truth with the other, but when he/she does so, then the relationship starts to break down. What happens then? Whose fault is it?
Of course I'm not saying that the truth is always bad, neither am I saying that the truth is always not excepted. But what happens when its not? A guy/girl will only start sharing secrets, real, deep secrets only when he/she really trusts the other party. But that trust is so fragile sometimes! And when the truth is spitted out, the relationship slowly deterioates, to the point when it breaks down.
To me, everything has a risk to it. When we embark on new relationships even continue old ones, we must except that something will catch us by surprise. Its human nature to lie and to hate, but we are no ordinary humans, we have a God, Jesus Christ! Stop being ordinary humans, and start forgiving!
And try something new, when you forgive someone, make sure you say smthing like, " hey, its all right, i FORGIVE you." Emphasise that word. You'll be amazed how much better that guy/girl will feel.
Well, hope I've typed something that meaningful.
John 4:9-11
"This is how God showed his love amoung us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loves us, we also ought to love one another. "
Amen :D
